How long does it take to get wig? What kind of hair is used? What are the cost of a wig? Is there a payment plan? Can there be rushed services? Are there any other cost that are involved? Do you only make lace front wigs or do you construct fully handtied wigs? Can a wig be custom fit to my hairline, head size, and shape? what about care for wigs? What about repairs of lacefront? What about returns or refunds? How do I contact you? How long does it take to get wig? Normally 14 days When you order your wig I will give you a date on when item will be ready for shipping/delivery the time span to get your order finished is dependent of amount of work I have and if I have to wait on supplies that need to be ordered to start your project. If I have product on hand then it is a matter of just getting the deposit and Balance paid to be shipped to you promptly. Back to Top What kind of hair is used? Synthetic is basic but you can request either human hair or yak hair also, there is an added cost to human and yak hair Back to Top What are the cost of a wig? The cost of the wig is based on length of time it takes to construct. A basic wig starts at $300 and goes up depending on time and cost of material. The average cost runs in the $350 range this is a wig with highlights and some length to it. This breaks down to $50 for material (base wig, hair used and lace) and $250 is starting off point for labor for a lace front. Back to Top Is there a payment plan? Yes; when you order a wig you have to pay a deposit of 1/2 you can make payments until deposit is met then the wig will be made. when wig is finished delivery will be made when payment in full is recieved, so you can basically do a layaway plan until you pay it off. Back to Top Can there be rushed services? YES But there is a rush fee applied in the amount of 20% of the cost of the wig and any added cost of supplies that would be needed if they are not on hand, I would let you know what the cost would be before I started a project. Mainly I don't keep stock of hair on hand and if you wanted something rushed I would either have to go out and shop for item and pay retail for or have material I needed expressed mailed those would be the added cost. The reason for this expense is that i have to stop any project or anything else that is going on around myself and work on your wig and get it finished in the rushed time limit. Back to Top Are there any other cost that are involved? Only for Shipping and Handling of product to you. I will discuss manner you want items shipped. I will send item(s) in manner we discuss and charge you according to cost of shipping. This cost will be added to the remaining amount on your bill. If you do not want to decide then it is $10 for basic shipping cost USPS Priority Mail and Insurance. Back to Top Do you only make lace front wigs or do you construct fully handtied wigs? yes; I can make a fully handtied wig. I would discuss price with you when an order is made keep in mind that a fully handtied wig runs in the labor department of 50-60 hours. We can discuss what you are wanting and what alternatives that are avaialble to keep the cost down, but again if you want I am able to build it. Back to Top Can a wig be custom fit to my hairline, head size, and shape? Yes; there can be 2 ways of handling this issue. One is if you are in the area of DFW or I am visiting your area then we can get together and I can make a custom tracing of your hairline and make exact measurements of your head. With this tracing and measurements I would construct a Head Block on a canvass head to be used for your custom wig work. or secondly you could either have someone who knows how to do a tracing and measure you and send me the info and tracing then I can construct the Head Block for your work to be done. The cost of either service is $100 and if you choose your Head Block would be returned to you or I can store for your when you want your next wig. ( I reccomend this mostly for either performers that plan on having several wigs made, a custom wig from scratch, want a custom hairline and/or want updo's with a lace at the neckline made for themselves.) Wigs can be sent in for repair just contact me and will discuss options and cost Back to Top What if I had a wig that I wanted to have a lace front put on? Yes You can supply the wig you have or find, if you have hair that you want to be used colors and such I will use them if I don't think they are appropriate I will discuss with you before I start construction about my concerns. There would be a just a labor cost which starts at $250(amount of time reflects this number) and no fee for material(if I supply extra hair that starts at $20). Back to Top Is there cut off dates before a pageant to order a wig? No The cut off date is dictated by the amount of work that I have to complete. When you contact me about making a wig I will let you know where I am at with other projects and if I cannot make a due date I will let you know at that time and options. I can make exceptions but again this would be considered a rush order and there is a fee for that. Back to Top Is all work done by Juan Nunez Yes If I have to contract work out I would discuss with you about and let you know the situation. It would be the same quality of work that I do nothing less. Back to Top Why is labor cost so high? Most lace fronts take from 10-15 hours of labor. The reason for this is that it is very meticulous and technical work. If you were to go to a wigmaker in NY or LA they would charge you a much higher amount for a lesser product. I not only custom blend the hair color when requested but i also use more hair that most wigmakers would use for a piece like this. The reasoning I have for using more hair is that I like to make sure that anything under the wig is completely concealed and that you cannot clock it. Also it makes for better styling when you want that high hair in the front or not use so much backcombing. Back to Top What about returns or refunds? When you order a wig you are given a contract and that states that the lace wig cannot be altered in any state other that what was recieved and unused. There is a $75 restocking fee remainder of amount paid is returned. Back to Top How do I contact you?
